Frohe Valentines Tag! (Valentine’s Day in Frankfurt…)

So here we are, our OneWorld Mission to Jordan, on our 10 hour layover in Frankfurt – Happy Valentine’s Day. It’s sunny and cold here – but I’m sure happy to be out of that plane. The 10 hour flight with a head cold was uncomfortable – to say the least. We’re in the Red Carpet lounge (thanks to my traveling companion Bob, the Million Miler) reading up before we take a taxi into Frankfurt for the romantic holiday! Ha ha. At least I catch up on all my newspaper reading while traveling. The global economic downturn seems to be the big news in Europe too. And also newsworthy is Hillary’s strategic first trip abroad as Secretary of State to China – vs. the historic tradition of visiting Europe first… “China as a Priority”. OneWorld Now!, baby.

I am here at the Seaside looking into the ocean and reading your blog…feels great to be able to follow your adventures..

  2. Hi Kristin!

I hope everything goes well in Jordan!

  3. Kristin,
Just missed you again. I was in Frankfurt (and Wiesbaden) until the evening of February 13. But I was in Duesseldorf for Valentine’s Day.

So excited about your new blog. I will be writing up something from this most interesting international conference on quality standards for education that I attended in Germany Feb 6-13.

    Take care, Michele Aoki
