MyOneChange (MOC) Party Launch in Seattle

On April 29, 2009, inspired by President Obama’s first 100 days in office, we launched our own movement called: MyOneChange.com. This movement encourages all of us to declare a positive change on-line (through our website or via twitter #MOC) daily, weekly, monthly and to support others in their journeys to make the world a better place. We also encouraged people to have MOC (vs. Block) parties to mark this special day. Friends from Mexico, California, Canada and Oregon hosted MOC parties last night.

Our inspiration for the MyOneChange movement, Kay Bullitt, was our hostess for the evening. Here she welcomes MOC party guests:

At our Seattle MOC party, we kicked off the evening by making a list of 100 things we appreciated about what Obama’s leadership so far. Here are OneWorld Now! students, Jackie and Terhas, sharing what they appreciate most about Obama:
